Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) can be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Gravatar's privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the site, avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the site.

How long do we keep your data?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognise and approve any subsequent comments, instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

the right to erasure of data, without undue delay, ("right to be forgotten"), if one of the following grounds applies:

the person disputes the accuracy of the data for a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data;
the processing is unlawful and the data subject objects to the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of their use;
